Miles for
Missing Moments
For the moments that matter

Small steps.
Meaningful moments.

Moving for the everyday moments families miss. Raising awareness. Building healthier habits. Supporting people through separation.

Why these miles matter

The ordinary moments
mean so much.

A birthday. A school achievement. A conversation about the day. Time apart touches the small parts of family life as well as the big occasions.

Miles for Missing Moments brings attention to those experiences, while directing people towards established support. It welcomes mothers, fathers, grandparents and anyone who cares about families.

Children’s safety, voices and wellbeing come first. Safe relationships and support matter. Reconnection is never something to force.

Three things to work towards

A purpose behind the progress.

01

Raise awareness

Speak about the emotional impact of family separation with care, dignity and respect for privacy.

02

Point towards support

Help people find organisations offering information, connection and specialist services.

03

Raise funds

Use one manageable personal challenge to support an established charity, with a clear donation route.

The wider picture

Behind the numbers,

Mental health matters

Support for the
difficult days.

Family separation brings different pressures for different people. The wellbeing page brings together evidence, listening services and routes to professional support.

Shared voices

Room for other experiences.

The next chapter will make space for genuine reflections from adults affected by family separation, published only with consent and careful review.

Every recorded mile counts.

No sessions recorded yet. The proposed challenge begins on 5 October 2026.

Weekly reflections

The first weekly reflection is planned for 11 October 2026. Updates will cover completed activity, setbacks and the next manageable step.
